This privacy notice provides the privacy policy for PJ's Quilt & Longarm Studio.  The privacy notice applies solely to information captured by this website.  It will notify you of the following: 

• What personal identifiable is collected from you thru the website, how it is used and with whom it will be shared 
• What choices are available to you for the use of your data 
• The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your data 
• How you can correct any incorrect information about you

Information, Use and Sharing 
We will not rent or sell your information to anyone.

We are the sole owners of the information collected from this site.  We have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact with you.  We also have your data collected by Quilt Lovers' Hangout, located on 3323 N. Key Drive, N. Fort Myers, FL.  PJ's Quilt & Longarm Studio purchased all Quilt Lovers' Hangout assets in July 2020, and re-opened the quilt shop under a new name at the same location. 

Customer data provided with the sale of assets from Quilt Lovers' Hangout allows us to capture reward points for customers that have shopped since January 2019.  The accumulation of reward points allows a customer to have a $10 credit once 250 points has been reached.   Historical data prior to that point has not been imported into the new website or POS (Point of Sale) system.  

The personal identifying information that is captured from you by this website is: 

• Name 

• Address (including City, State, Zip) 

• Email Address 

• Phone Number 

• Transaction history by production and amount

Your credit/debit card information is not retained by this website. 

This information is collected is for the following purposes:

• Class/event reminders 
• Information required for shipping purposes 
• Transaction history provides the information required in order to properly calculate and research customer reward points
• Notification of specials, new products, classes, and events available 
• To respond to you regarding reasons that you contact us
• Notification when a service is completed or questions that are important to the quality of a service requested by you
• To contact you if any personal items are left in the classroom after a class or event. 

 
We will not share your information with any third party outside of the organization, other than is necessary to fulfill your order (e.g. shipping).  

Unless you ask us not to, we will contact you via email, to tell you about announcements, specials, classes, new products, events, services and changes in privacy policy.

Your Access and Control Over Information 
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time.   

Please be aware that any service you request requires at least one form of contact information to be provided, in order to properly complete the service and notify you when completed.

• change/correct any data we have about you

Return Policy 
This return policy applies to PJ's Quilt & Longarm Studio sales. 

Our products may be returned for store credit within 30 days of original purchase, provided they are unopened and in like-new condition.  Returned shipping will be at the expense of the buyer.  All returned goods must include a copy of the receipt, your email address, shipping address and phone number.   

Items that can be returned our notions that are sold in manufacturer packaging.  Embroidery CD's can be returned only when they are unopened and in like-new condition. 

The following items can not be returned:

• Clearance fabric
• Fabric cut from the bolt
• Frixion or other pens that are not sold within individual packaging
• Cutting mats
• Irons
• Patterns
• Needles 
• Creative Grids or other tools which the original packing has a broken seal.   If the ruler does not have packaging that determines if the tool may have been used, there is no return allowed.

Classroom fees will only be refunded when you cancel a minimum of 24 hours in advance.   Please note that teacher fees have to be paid by the quilt shop and a minimum number of students may be required in order to conduct a class.   PJ's reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason.    Classes cancelled by PJ's will refund the fees as store credit.

CoVid Policy 

Masks are required when you are shopping in our store.  

Employee activities: 

• An employee cleans the bathroom facilities daily, and wipes down the sink, toilet handle, light switch and places that customers touch. 
• Disinfectant spray is available for use where needed 
• After classes tables are wiped down. 
• Staff are told to not pick up their own beverages and personal items. 
• Employees are told to monitor their temperatures. 
• If employees are sick, they are told to stay home.

Classes: 

• Tables are positioned 6 feet apart. 
• Students are told to bring their own cutting mats and irons. 
• Students are told to not share any tools. 

Exposure to Employees:

• Employees are the front desk have access to hand sanitizer for regular use during the day. 
• Employees are the only one handling the credit/debit card readers, unless the machine requests a PIN to be entered.  
• Staff have been requested to take their temp daily. 
• Staff have been instructed to stay at home if they are sick. 
• Longarm staff are being protected from exposure to customers.  Customer requests to see the longarm employees will not be allowed.  Please do not go into the longarm part of our building.  
• Customers are not allowed to be in the classroom either, except when they are part of the class.
• Any employee that is sick with CoVid must follow their doctors and the CDC's recommendation for isolation.
