Join Sue to make a cute, zippered bucket bag! Just the right size for storing notions or it could even be used as a mobile thread/scrap catcher during retreats and sew-aways! The options are endless!
The Bliss Bucket Bag pattern by Minki Kim is included with the class. Please come to class prepared with all of your fabrics/notions needed to create your bag.
Fabric & Notions needed for class:
Main Fabric A (Bag Top and Grab Handle): Fat Quarter
Main Fabric B (Bag Body): Fat Quarter
Lining Fabric: Fat Quarter
Foam Stabilizer: 20" x 14" (Bosal, Pellon or byAnnie Soft and Stable are all great options!)
Zipper: (1) 21" Double Slide
1" Webbing: 10"
Hardware: (2) 5/8" D-Rings
Other: Cotton Lace, Ribbon, Cotton Ribbon, 46" of 1/2" leather strapping for shoulder handle (optional)
Additional supplies needed:
- Sewing Machine
- Sewing machine thread
- Sewing machine needles (jeans needle is advisable for the thickness)
- Rotary Cutter with new blade
- Sewing pins and clips
- Sewing scissors or snips
- Seam Ripper
- 1/4" Piecing foot for your sewing machine
- Zipper foot for your sewing machine
