Come work on your bag projects with Judy. 

Have you seen how many cute bag patterns there are out there?  Your project could be anything from makeup bags, book bags, toy bags, totes, grocery bags, purses, travel bags, By Annie bags, etc.....

Do any of these apply to you?

• Are you obsessed with bags? 
• Do you have one or more bag projects in progress?   
• Do you have 1 or more bag projects that are on your bucket list? 
• Do you have anyone that would enjoy a bag as a gift?  
• Do you binge watch YouTube channels with bag makers?
• Are you obsessed with By Annie?  

If you attend the class and are planning on sewing with us only, the price is as stated.  However, if you are attending and require private instruction, the price of the class will be increased for that day to $35 (instead of $10).   Please remember that there may be multiple people needing assistance on the same day, so time will be allocated as effectively as possible.  

Come sew with us!  During this time as our skills progress, your skills will progress.  Build your confidence and get inspired.

Standard tools for bag making:

• Sewing machine that can sew through the fabric you select 
• Cotton fabric is commonly a fabric used when starting to make bags
• Wonder clips 
• Iron 
• Chrome plated denim needle size 100
• Zippers 
• Zipper tape 
• Stiletto 
• Seam ripper 
• Marking pen/pencils/chalk
• Heavier duty pins (e.g. flat head pins) 
• Cutting rulers 
• Rotary cutter(s) - 24"x6" ruler is a basic 
• Vinyl 
• Walking foot 
• Teflon foot recommended 

Next level for bag making (advanced):   

• New types of fabrics
  • Leather
  • Waxed canvas
  • Water proof canvas 
  • Etc...
• Polyester or Nylon thread for non-cotton fabrics
• Heavy duty Sewing machine when using heavier fabric 
• Non-stick needles when using wax canvas 
• Chalk pencils for marking wax canvas 

Rivet setting (advanced): 

• Rivets 
• Hammer 
• Mallet (and rivet setter) 
• Dry punch and dry punch board to punch holes 
• Stone slab to be used for setting rivets 
• Rotary punch
