Lazy Girl - Harper Holdall

This is part of a progressive skill building bag class. 

You will need to pick up your pattern prior to the class so that you are able to choose fabrics, stabilizers and notions.
Lazy Girl Designs #LGD148 Harper Holdall pattern is included in the cost of the class.

In this class, you will make a bag that has a zip top closure. 

In addition, pockets are added to this bag.

Finished size 13" wide at the top x 13" tall and 6" deep. 
- Zipper closure
- Small, split inside pocket
- @ 30" straps

The following supplies are needed for this class: 
- Lazy Girl Designs #LGD148 pattern
- 5/8 yard feature fabric for the outside of the bag
- 5/8 yard fabric for the bag lining
- 3/4 yard fabric for the handles, inside pocket, zipper pull ties and the bag base 
- 2 1/2 yard x 22" wide Face It Soft lightweight woven interfacing (or Pellon SF101)
- 1 1/2 yard x 20" wide Stiff Stuff firm sew in interfacing (or by Annie Soft and Stable works great as well)
- 1 - 30" double slide zipper (or single slide, if you prefer)

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

If you want your bag base the same as your feature fabric for the outside, of the bag, an extra half yard of your feature fabric will be necessary.

PLEASE PRE-CUT YOUR FABRICS BEFORE COMING TO CLASS!
If you wish, you may also fuse your stabilizers where applicable, prior to class.

You will need to bring the following to class:
- Your pattern
- All of your fabrics, stabilizers and notions
- Machine in good working order
- Your favorite piecing foot or 1/4" foot, zipper foot (if you choose a zipper close top instead of a magnetic snap close top)
- General sewing and quilting supplies (pins, wonder clips or similar)
- Bohin 1/4" double sided tape is really helpful for zippers, but not necessary.
- Rotary cutter

The shop will provide an iron, but if you have a small one that can travel, you're welcome to bring it, along with an appropriate pad or mat suitable for ironing.
