Small - 2 x 11" squares
Large - 2 x 13" squares
Fusible Fleece - 1 square
Lightweight Woven - 1 square
Zipper - 14" (small bag), 16" (large bag)
Other - template plastic or 3" x 5" index card

Bring the following to class:
- Your sewing machine
- All of the sewing feet that you have with your machine.
- Bring your owners manual for your sewing machine
- Make sure you bring your 1/4" piecing foot
- Thread, pins, snips, seam ripper and general sewing supplies
- Bring your own rotary cutter that has a new fresh blade!  Consider getting a new OLFA or Martelli rotary cutter if you have been struggling with other off-brands.
- Bring your own cutting ruler(s).

Important:  You must have a fully functioning sewing machine that you know how to thread and operate successfully.  Your sewing machine must be able to backstitch.  In addition, it must be able to sew through thick fabric.

Low end sewing machines can have issues with sewing through thick layers of fabric.  Sewing machines with dual feed are better able to sew thru thicker layers.  Walking feet are are used to go thru multiple layers of fabric, including batting.   If you have a low end sewing machine, test the capabilities of your machine by folding denim fabric into multiple layers and see how many layers you can sew through.

The following will be provided in the classroom that can be shared by individuals who do not bring their own:
- 1 large cutting mat

The following items will not be provided for classroom use:
- Rotary cutters
- Cutting rulers
- Sewing machines
- Scissors
- Sewing pins
- Iron(s)
